Nurse practitioner Makeda Berhane specializes in the evaluation and management of a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), liver disease, pancreatic disease and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Berhane earned her Master of Science in nursing from Coppin State University. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Berhane is dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care with a focus on preventive health and empowering patients to understand and manage their digestive conditions and overall well-being.
