Laura Ann Goldberg, OD

Laura Goldberg, O.D., F.A.A.O. is an optometrist at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine's Columbia, Maryland location. In addition to providing comprehensive eye care to patients, Dr. Goldberg's practice focuses on complex contact lenses fittings and dry eye disease. She graduated from the New England College of Optometry and completed a residency in primary care and ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilmington, Delaware. While studying optometry, Dr. Goldberg performed research on possible causes of developmental progression of myopia in children and received a master’s degree in vision science. Her research sparked her passion for myopia control, and she currently offers a myriad of therapies to help slow the progression of nearsightedness. Dr. Goldberg envisions her career unfolding at the nexus of three areas of optometry in order to facilitate continuing advancements in patient care.
