Dr. Chao-Wei Hwang is an expert interventional cardiologist specializing in complex coronary interventions, acute coronary syndromes, advanced coronary artery disease, and cardiogenic shock. Dr. Hwang is involved in a number of device and coronary clinical trials and has published extensively about stent-based drug delivery systems, cell-based therapies to the heart, and analytical modeling of cardiovascular care. He is the founder and curator of "6-in-the-A, " a prominent educational YouTube channel dedicated to interventional cardiology and coronary artery disease. Dr. Hwang is Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Director of Interventional Cardiology at Frederick Health Hospital. Dr. Hwang received medical and doctoral training at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He completed his medical residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
